Have-A-Blast
Friday, June 28 at J.R. Martin Park (300 E. Hines St., Republic)
The City of Republic’s 28th annual Have-A-Blast Patriotic Celebration offers fun for both adults and kids in the form of live music, food vendors, bounce houses and more. Event opens at 6 p.m., with fireworks scheduled to start at 10 p.m. Find a full schedule of events by clicking here.
Sky High Fireworks Celebration
Saturday, June 29 at Nixa High School (514 S. Nicholas Rd., Nixa)
Celebrate Independence Day early with entertainment, games and a fireworks show from the Nixa High School football stadium. Gates open at 7 p.m. for food and activities, including face painting, inflatables and more.
Honor America at College of the Ozarks
Saturday, June 29 at College of the Ozarks (100 Opportunity Ave., Point Lookout)
Bring lawn chairs or a blanket for a picnic on campus. Food from Chick-Fil-A, London Calling, The Deck Pizza Company and more will be available starting at 6 p.m. Kids activities like face painting and bounce houses will also be available, along with live entertainment. The Hard Work U Concert Band will perform a patriotic program starting at 8:45 p.m. as the backdrop for fireworks.
Sparks in the Park
Saturday, June 29 at Ash Grove City Park (300 E. Parkway St., Ash Grove)
Celebrating it’s 103rd year, Ash Grove’s Sparks in the Park celebration kicks off with a parade at 3 p.m. Drop by the vendor tents and get a bite from local food trucks while enjoying live music and entertainment.Fireworks will start at dark.
Rogersville’s Independence Day Celebration
Saturday, June 29 at Rogersville City Park (225 County Line Rd., Rogersville)
The celebration starts early at Rogersville’s annual Fourth of July shindig. Food trucks, vendors, bounce houses and more open at 2 p.m., with a parade scheduled to start at 5 p.m. and fireworks to follow at 9 p.m.
Fireburst Fireworks over Table Rock Lake
Tuesday, July 2 at Kimberling City Bridge
You can catch this fireworks display by land or lake, but be sure to get there early to scope out a good spot. Fireworks are set to start at around 9 p.m.
Branson Landing’s Liberty Light Up Celebration
Wednesday, July 3 at Branson Landing (100 Branson Landing Blvd., Branson)
Branson Landing is celebrating the U.S. of A a day early this year. Festivities kick off with a beer garden at 5:30 p.m., followed by live music from Damsel and The Dirty Saints. Fireworks will light the sky above Lake Taneycomo and are scheduled to start at around 9:20 p.m. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy the show!
Flippin Fireworks at Hickey Park
Wednesday, July 3 at Hickey Park (across from Walmart located at 168 Walmart Dr., Flippin, Arkansas)
Arkansas rock band Shotgun Divorce will take the stage at 6 p.m. for Flippin, Arkansas’ annual fireworks display. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music until fireworks start at dark.
Purdy Community Picnic and Firework Show
Wednesday, July 3 at The Gathering Place (100 Business 37, Purdy)
Music, food and fun starts at 6 p.m. at this community event. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket to sit on while you enjoy Kit Barley & The Creekside Bandits and a delicious picnic meal. Fireworks are scheduled to start around 9:15 p.m.
Bolivar’s Celebration of Freedom
Thursday, July 4 at Southwest Baptist University (1600 University Ave., Bolivar)
Bolivar Rotary Club is hosting the 44th annual Celebration of Freedom on the Southwest Baptist University (SBU) campus. Food vendors will be open at 5:30 p.m., with entertainment on the main stage starting at 6 p.m. U.S. Army Sgt. Jake Norotsky of the Wounded Warrior Project is scheduled to speak at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks will start at dusk.
Chadwick’s Fourth of July Fireworks
Thursday, July 4 at Chadwick Community Building (122 Oriole Dr.) and the Chadwick Rural Fire Department (6419 MO 125)
This is the third year for the city of Chadwick’s Fourth of July fireworks show. Food vendors will start opening as early as 3 p.m., and the Chadwick Rural Fire Department will be raising money by serving pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and sides starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks will light the sky starting at 9 p.m.
Marshfield Independence Day Parade
Thursday, July 4 in Marshfield
Marshfield is home to the oldest continuous Independence Day celebration west of the Mississippi River. The parade starts at 10 a.m. in the town square, followed by bull riding, barrel racing and more in the Independence Day Rodeo at 7 p.m. Fireworks will follow the rodeo.
Rockaway’s Rockin’ 4th of July
Thursday, July 4 in Rockaway Beach
Starting at 4 p.m., Rockaway Beach is celebrating the U.S.A. for the 60th year on the banks of Lake Taneycomo.The celebration serves as the major display for Forsyth, Merriam Woods, Rockaway Beach and other small communities in Stone and Taney counties.
Ft. Leonard Wood’s Independence Day Celebration
Thursday, July 4 at Gammon Field (800 Iowa Ave., Fort Leonard Wood)
Enjoy fireworks, bounce houses, a petting zoo and more at Fort Leonard Wood this Fourth of July, with a special performance by Huntley, winner of season 24 of “The Voice”.
Thursday, July 4 in downtown Harrison (515 S. Pine St., Harrison, Arkansas)
Hosted by Explore Harrison, Fire in the Sky: An American Celebration starts with a children’s parade downtown at 10 a.m., followed by a presentation from the Daughters of the American Revolution. The fun continues at the Anstaff Soccer Complex at 5 p.m. with live music, a frozen t-shirt contest and more, with fireworks to start at about 9:30 p.m.
Big Cedar Lodge 4th of July Patriotic Picnic
Thursday, July 4 at Big Cedar Lodge’s Grandview Conference Center (190 Top of the Rock Rd., Ridgedale)
An airshow and live music are on the agenda for Big Cedar’s Independence Day event. The picnic starts at 5:30 p.m., with fireworks at dusk. Don’t forget your lawn chair or blanket!
Hollister’s 4th of July Fireworks Show
Thursday, July 4 at Hollister Municipal Airport (60 Airport Dr., Hollister)
Enjoy live musical performances, a DJ, food vendors and kid-friendly attractions before the fireworks display after dark. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.
Fans-On-the Field Patriotic Fireworks Celebration
Thursday, July 4 at Hammons Field (955 E. Trafficway St., Springfield)
Fireworks will light the sky at Hammons Field after the Springfield Cardinals face off against the NW Arkansas Naturals. Tickets for the game can be found here.

Chateau on the Lake’s Independence Day Celebration
Saturday, July 6 at Chateau on the Lake (415 N. State Highway 265, Branson)
A BBQ buffet kicks off Chateau on the Lake’s annual festivities at 5:30 p.m., along with sweets from the Sweet Shoppe and a bourbon bar. Ticketholders also get access to a VIP viewing area when fireworks start at sunset.
Fireworks Over the Water and Duck Derby
Saturday, July 6 at Pomme de Terre Lake Dam (Hermitage)
Enjoy food and fun at Pomme de Terre Lake for the Fourth of July. Thousands of ducks will be dropped in the dam spillway for the Great Pomme de Terre Duck Derby at 4 p.m. After that, grab a bite from a food truck and live entertainment from The County Liners before fireworks at dusk. The Pomme de Terre Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a cornhole tournament and activities for kids.
