Taylor Swift has a habit of winning awards.
Just last month she dominated the iHeartRadio Music awards when she won Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year for The Tortured Poets Department, Favorite Tour Tradition for her Eras Tour surprise songs - among a few others.
“This is amazing, hi, thank you so much to iHeart and thank you mainly to the fans,” Swift said while accepting her Tour of the Century award. “I really can’t tell you how much this means to me because I accept this on behalf of all my tour mates, all my fellow performers, my band, everyone who toured with us, our crew.”
Just a few weeks later she was back in the headlines thanks to one of her songs hitting a historic mark on Spotify. Her All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault) surpassed one billion steams - becoming her record 15th song to hit the mark.
Fast forward another few weeks and she's racked up another award of a different kind. Swift and her team won the Webby Award for best community engagement, PR campaigns for their For a Fortnight Challenge.
“The Webby Awards celebrates the incredible diversity and global reach of the Internet,” Jesse Feister, Executive Director, Webby Media Group said in a statement along with the awards.
“This year’s winners represent a masterclass of creativity and innovation. They’ve harnessed the power of the Internet to drive change, spark conversations and connect us in new ways. With the introduction of new categories, these creators are being recognized for shaping the future of the digital world.”
